The Government have announced more help to employers during the COVID-19 crisis
More good news for employers during this difficult time. The Government have announced the introduction of a £1000 on off payment for each employee that they have furloughed during the pandemic and who will remain employed until at least the end of January 2021.
Those applicable for the bonus have to have been employed throughout the lockdown period and continue to be employed until at least 31st January 2021. Have to have been furloughed at some point during the lockdown and have to earn at least £520 per month.
Unfortunately, although this seems like a great incentive to keep staff employed, the bonuses will not be granted until February 2021.
